Information you give us

  • Notification list: your email address.

  • Purchases: your name, email address, the answers you give at checkout (for example, whether and how your name appears in the book), and payment details. Payments are processed by our checkout and payment providers. We do not receive or store your full card number.

  • Messages and bookings: anything you send us by email, and the details you provide when you book a session (such as your name, email, and links you choose to share).

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and device information: pages viewed, the page or ad that referred you, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type, and the date and time of your visit.

  • Cookies and similar technologies: small files and code that recognize your browser. See Section 5.

2. How we use information

2. How we use information

  • To deliver what you purchased: chapters as they are finished, the complete book, gift copies, and any session included with your seat

  • To send the updates you signed up for, and to reply when you contact us

  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site

  • To measure and improve our advertising, including showing ads to people who have visited the Site

  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

3. How we share information

3. How we share information

We share information with service providers who help us run the Site and deliver your purchase, under their own terms and privacy policies:

  • Framer (website hosting and analytics)

  • Stan and Stripe (checkout, payment processing, and file delivery)

  • Google (email and scheduling)

  • Meta Platforms, Inc. (advertising measurement through the Meta Pixel; see Section 5)

We may also disclose information to comply with the law or a valid legal request, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Our use of the Meta Pixel, described below, allows Meta to use information about your visits to show you ads. In some states, that is considered “sharing” for advertising, and Section 7 explains how to opt out.

4. Third-party tracking across sites

4. Third-party tracking across sites

Third parties, including Meta, may use cookies and similar technologies on the Site to collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites, in order to measure ad performance and show you ads.

5. Cookies and the Meta Pixel

5. Cookies and the Meta Pixel

The Site uses the Meta Pixel, code provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. When you visit, the Pixel may set or read cookies and send Meta information such as the page you viewed, your browser details, and identifiers that help Meta recognize you. If you enter your email on the Site, Meta’s tools may receive a hashed (scrambled) version of it to match your visit to a Meta account. Meta uses this information under its own Data Policy.

Your choices:

  • Adjust how Meta uses your activity in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences (Settings, then Accounts Center, then Ad preferences).

  • Opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info.

  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Site still works without them.

6. Do Not Track

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, and the Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We do honor the opt-out choices described in Sections 5 and 7.

7. Your rights and choices

7. Your rights and choices

  • Access, correction, and deletion: you can ask what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.

  • Opt out of advertising use: you can ask us not to use your information for targeted advertising, in addition to the choices in Section 5.

  • Emails: every update email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can write to us.

To make a request, email hello@contentthatgetsclients.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.

8. How long we keep information

8. How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Purchase and tax records are kept as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your notification-list email at any time.

9. Security
